Kareena Kapoor Net Worth $6 Million
So how rich is Kareena Kapoor? It has been estimated that the net worth of Kareena Kapoor is equal to $6 million. However, her engagement ring is valued $337,000, and she owns various real estate properties in India and abroad. Kappor has a passion for luxurious cars and has a Lexus 470 SUV among other brand new cars in her outstanding collection. Unsurprisingly though, even though she is one of the highest paid Bollywood actresses, her salary cannot be compared with the highest paid actresses in Hollywood. For example, Kareena can earn $1 million, but Angelina Jolie $33 million, per film.
Kareena was born into a family of celebrities. Her great-grandparents, grandparents and parents have all been actors. However, Kareena’s father didn’t want her or her sister to be an actress, simply to make their homes, marry and live happily. This caused too much controversy in the family, and as a result the parents divorced and her mother, Babita Kapoor, started to manage Kareena’s career.
So, with the guidance of her mother, Kareena Kapoor debuted in the film “Refugee” (2000) directed by J. P. Dutta. Her lead role in the film received positive reviews from critics, and the actress won her first Filmfare Award, thus establishing herself as a popular actress in Hindi cinema. Then she had roles in the main cast of the films “Aśoka” (2001) and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…” (2001). Afterwards, one major role in the film was succeeded by another, as well as with awards. In 2003, she starred in the film “Chameli” and won the Filmfare Award for the Special Performance. A year later, for her role in the film “Dev” (2004) she won the Filmfare Critics Award as the Best Actress. Kapoor won this award reportedly for her roles in the film “Omkara” (2006) and “Jab We Met” (2007). The last award she received was for the Best Supporting Actress in the film “We Are Family” (2010). Afterwards, Kapoor was nominated for further awards, for her roles in the films “Daboo” (2010) and “Mahi Arora” (2012), though she hasn’t won more. Currently, she is working in films that are going to be released soon: “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, “Brothers” and “Udta Punjab”. Even being moody and rebellious she is still one of the most famous and popular actresses in India.
Furthermore, Kareena Kapoor has launched her own clothing line. Kapoor was a spokesperson for the retail company titled “Globus”. She has also published several books based on forming healthy eating habits, and a book based on the true facts of her live.
In her private life, Kareena Kapoor married Indian film actor and producer Saif Ali Khan in 2012.

| 1 | The one thing I like being in a relationship is that we get to share things. Our experiences about life, comparing notes about things that have happened to us. Then you get companionship, which is great. You laugh, you talk, you fight. There's a mazaa in that. I like everything about being in a relationship. I like feeling secure. I like the companionship, making the other person happy. And if you're in a good relationship, there's nothing you don't like about it. |
